Rising Youth
As part of YLP 301, we expect you take part in a service project of your own. Your project must be about giving back to your community.
Our youth in the past have received multiple grants for service project. This program is now closed however there are other organizations who still offer youth grants for service projects. These project will be challenging and will test you leadership skills to the limit. You will be in charge of your entire project, you will be handling the finances, organizing, and communicating with the people necessary to make this project work. At times it may be frustrating, and stressful, but you must remember these are the tasks of a leader. Once you are enrolled in YLSBC's 101/201/301 programs youth receives full support and mentorship.
Challenge

Value
When you come out of this project, you will be more ready for the real world than ever before. You would have made new contacts, learn how to purchase bulk orders, how to create an invoice and much more. This project makes you think outside the box and gives you a taste of the real world.
