Ravinder Safaya is a seasoned Senior International Trade Executive with over 34 years of experience in global trade. After migrating to Canada in 1989, he specialized in exporting pulp and paper from North America to international markets, establishing his base in Coquitlam, BC. He holds certifications from the Trade Accelerator Program (World Trade Centre, Vancouver).

Ravinder has over 23 years of youth mentorship experience, serving as a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Leader, Scouts Leader, and founder of the Steps Together Foundation, promoting youth education. A recipient of the Community Champion 2020 Award, he also holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

Sanah, a Grade 12 student at Heritage Woods Secondary, is a skilled public speaker and Youth Leadership Coach with the Youth Leadership Society of BC. She has demonstrated leadership through a $750 Rising Youth Grant, organizing hygiene care packages for a local shelter, and founding her school's Unified Track Team while also coaching Unified Soccer.

With work experience ranging from Panago Pizza to a country club, she continues to develop strong communication and customer service skills while volunteering at a soup kitchen and pursuing her passions for reading, writing, music, and business.
